It’s my favorite because it sparks emotion within me (don’t mean to sound corny lmao). I feel sad for Cassandra in this painting, as it depicts her being taken from the alter of Athena by Ajax. The painting itself holds a very dark, yet heroic tone because of the colors and positions (Ajax looks confident, Cassandra looks distressed).
