Trevose Lighthouse was built by Jacob and Thomas Oliver and Sons of Falmouth in 1847. The circular tower is approximately 87 feet high with a parapet walkway and lantern, topped by a weathervane. There are also 2 low, single storey, blocks of living accommodation where the lighthouse keepers would have lived when the lighthouse was manned.
