I purchased an M140i a few months back, stage 2 running 470bhp. Just failed an MOT. I was told it had a standard cat in it, turned out there was a straight downpipe, so failed MOT on emissions and not cat. What is the best way to proceed? Mot is now tainted with the fail so selling in the future will be harder without actually resolving this.
