That particular information isn't complete so it's misleading. That block was used for 290 hp 302's and 300 & 350 hp 350's and was fitted with 4 bolt mains. It was also used for the 235 hp 327 for only a few months and only as 2 bolt main. You could make a 4 bolt 327 if you used a 4 bolt 4" bore block.
