Put it back on! That was how I was able to play GTA was on game pass. I don't have a console and can't afford one. I love playing it on game pass it was easy to use. Why did you take it off it was the most popular game put it back on!
Why did GTA5 leave Xbox game pass and will it come back as well as hitman. It would've been a decision rockstar games/take 2 would have made. The developer is the primary one who gets to decide whether a game comes to gamepass or leaves and for how long itll stay on gamepass.

Thank you. Graeme, could you try retrieving your most recent cloud saved data for this game? This can be done by highlighting GTA V > pressing the Menu button > Manage game & add-ons > saved data > highlight your gamertag and hit A > select “remove from this console”. Open GTA V after doing this procedure and wait until your progress is synced.
GTA 5 on disc asking if I own the game When I put any game disc in it works fine but when I put gta5 in, the disc is in very good condition with no scratches or marks. Xbox either says do I on this game even tho the game disc is in the console or it sends me to look at games that are backwards compatible.
Alt+tab broken in GTA 5 after updating to fast ring insider 18963 released on August 16, 2019. Alt+tabbing out works but if you go back to the game you are met with a black screen or a frozen screen of the game! After the new insider 18963 preview update (fast ring) I can no longer alt+tab out of GTA 5 and bring the game back up.
This means that we don't have any more information than you do regarding whether GTA 5 will return to Xbox Game Pass or if GTA 6 will be added to the service in the future. We'll have to wait for an official statement from Rockstar Games/Xbox regarding this.

GTA was cycled out a few weeks ago but a few other games were brought in to replace it (such as Red Dead Redemption 2). Watch out for the notifications on Twitter and on the console for the latest updates on games leaving Game Pass and the opportunity to buy them to keep with up to 20% off.
